Really good bar b que at great prices. People rave about the chicken. Funky joint, looks like fun later on, I was there for lunch
Fb photos were better than food. Sat nite dining bar food, not bad but took forever and grease needed changing.
I had the Philly cheese with fries and my wife had the ribs and fries. Both were amazing. We went when it was pretty quiet and the service was perfect. Multiple tv's with different shows/sports playing. Real fries, not frozen, easy access to the parking lot. Definitely will go back.
It's not a fancy place and I really wasn't expecting much, but when I walked in, the incredible smell of fried chicken made your mouth water. The waitress was great, and the menu looked good - reasonably priced, good selection...but then she told us that a buffet would be ready in about 15 minutes for $10 and something. I was surprised because it was already after 6:30 pm - kind of late to just start a buffet - but we all decided to wait for the buffet. I was really glad we did.! Barbecue pulled pork sandwiches that melted in your mouth, incredible fried chicken (eat your heart out KFC), baked beans, creamy coleslaw, yummy potato salad...Hats off to the cook - it was a touchdown and a great way to celebrate another win for the Grizzlies.
Loved the briskit and the fried catfish was perfectly seasoned. Unfortunately there was zero smoke flavor on the brisket and ribs leading me to believe they might have been baked. There are smokers outside, so I don't know why they would have been baked inside. All of the meat was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly, just would have liked more of a smokey flavor.
