There are hiking trails all over the park, some of which lead you to the two major scenic features of the park, Big Manitou and Little Manitou Falls. Big Manitou Falls has the biggest drop of any waterfall in Wisconsin, and it can be breathtaking, especially at high water levels. There are numerous scenic overlooks on both sides of the Black River to enjoy it.

I love this park. I grew up just a few miles from here and would go here often. This is where I learned to swim actually. Anyway, I moved away now, but I try to go back every chance I get.

Best in any season. Two waterfalls roadside. Good campground

Close to Duluth with good hiking and some beautiful trails. They are known for their waterfalls. The campsites are great too. Beautiful area. You need to go there if you haven't.

Great camping! My only complaint about this place is that dumpsters are only available near the entrance to the park. They don't have them conveniently located which makes it annoying to throw out your trash when you're at a campsite. They have showers and flush toilets. The building is clean, large, and centrally located.

Pattison State Park is a beautiful park with plenty of things to do!

Interfalls Lake, which is formed by a dam just upstream from Big Manitou Falls, is a pleasant no-wake lake that is perfect for canoeing or kayaking.

They have a nice, large beach area and lots of picnic tables. The bath house by the beach has several changing stalls, some toilets, and a spigot (inside) to clean off sandy/dirty feet. The falls are gorgeous and worth checking out. You can either hike to them or park very close to them. It's about 20 minutes from Amnicon Falls State Park which is great to visit for a day or half-day trip. It's also about a 30 minute drive from Duluth, MN which has some fun things to do too.

The campground is easy to use, with partially shaded sites. They are fairly small for the most part, so you certainly can't have a family reunion at one campsite!
