Everything was pretty good. Except they didn’t let us know the pool and hot tub was under maintenance until we were on our way to the pool. Also, there was a big yellowish stain on my bed sheets.
The staff here serve from the heart. There is a genuine sense of service. I have never seen such a sincere effort towards keeping the client comfortable

We had a nice stay here. We ended up here because everything in Duluth was booked up but it was an easy drive between the hotel and everything we wanted to do in Duluth. The room was nice and large and was clean. The only frustration I had was with the key cards. After getting checked in and bringing loads of luggage up to our room, neither of the two provided keys would open the door so I had to go back from the third floor, opposite end back to the front desk on first floor. After reprogramming, the keys worked fine. They were never near a phone or anything else that could have demagnetized them so I'm not sure what happened. Then again on checkout day, while they continued to open the room door, I got locked out and had to walk around to the front when the keys would no longer open the exterior side door closest to our room. This was while I was trying to make multiple trips bringing all our luggage back down. Overall, it was a nice stay, just a bit frustrating to have all the trouble with the keys.
Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and professional but not overbearing. They seemed to have issues keeping up with clean towels in the pool area so I suggest bringing your own or one from your room.
