The best service I had all weekend from this place was the poor lady at the front desk on crutches, she was the nicest, you could understand her, it didn't sound like she was on some kind of pills, she answered all your questions and concerns and she also gave me a $53.00 credit for all the problems.
A great cheap place no critters and has free breakfast and indoor pool. Beds are small and its a continental breakfast. Donut muffins and danishes

Well we thought our stay was going to be good but,. Being a past head housekeeper I found alot of stuff wrong, spiders in the corners of the bathroom, no bathroom fan, previous smokers, smoke hanging from ceiling, trim coming off around bathroom door, TV remote only half worked, when you turned the heat on there was a nasty smell coming out of the vent, food on the walls in a couple different. Spots, Kleenex box was empty, the plastic sheet cover was hanging off half way and pushed under bed so they didn't have to fix, the kick trim and edge of carpeting where very dusty and not vacuumed, was washing baby bottles in the sink and the drain pipe fell off and soaked the rug, called the front desk and the lady said she didn't know how to reach maintenance guy to fix it, so we did so we could use the sink. We had very rude guest and children slamming doors, running in the hallway and in breakfast area and front desk did nothing about it, I went to get rid of dirty diaper and ask front desk where I could put it and she told me that they prefer we keep it in our room and housekeeping can take it out in the morning, really there's a reason I'm trying to put it in a dumpster it stinks and the coffee sucks also! Went to DBL check room when leaving and found a receipt under the bed from previous customer for Superior Meat Market from back in August
This was the last room available in town the weekend we chose to stay. After reading some of the reviews, we were very leery or what we would find. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness of the rooms. Our room had been recently painted and the carpet was pretty clean. We had no complaints and would stay there again.
Surprise! What a great old place low prices a pool Jacuzzi breakfast in the morning. I was impressed. They still use a metal key and its clean. But being your own pillow they are a little lean. Good location too!
It was a great stay! They allow dogs, which was a big part in why we selected them. The staff was friendly, and the room -for the most part - was quite clean. My only complaint about the room is the stained chairs. The upholstery needs redone. Breakfast was included, though it was just simple fare of pastry, cereal, and fruit. I appreciated the small pick-me-up!
